Abarca's handcrafted espadrilles are renowned for their high level of comfort and sustainable manufacturing. Most classic is the Camping model, an excellent summer shoe that is naturally cool, yet easy to put on and take off. Here in a dark grey colour.
Made with old traditional techniques where braided jute forms the sole base, with a natural rubber outsole that is durable and provides good grip. Inside the shoe is a cushioning natural latex covered with vegetable tanned leather.
Abarca makes its espadrilles by hand in Murcia, Spain. All the materials used are organic, and they are mostly sourced from local producers for the smallest possible carbon footprint. It also allows them to have very strict quality requirements for their materials. Abarca's sustainable approach has made them famous around the world, where you can find them at over 400 retailers.

Use Saphir Medaille d'Or Super Invulner for waterproofing (protection against moist and dirt), and brush off with a shoe brush after use to remove dirt from the canvas upper and jute sole. If more thorough cleaning is required, use Saphir Medaille d'Or Omninettoyant.
